In town on their West Coast tour, NY-based Warp Trio — blending contemporary and classical styles, merging Juilliard-trained musicians with rock and jazz experts, and (surprise) featuring FOUR members — graced our students with an educational workshop!
Congrats to our 8th graders for crushing their Hip-Hop performance! This 6-week collaborative unit between PE and music took a deeper look at Hip-Hop as both a culture and an aesthetic movement.
Eighth grade students are currently studying heat and temperature. What could be thought of as a dry and boring topic comes alive as students become actively responsible for their own learning!
