"Both my kids graduated from FAIS… They both have told me it was the best thing I could have done for them. Extremely well prepared for high school."FAIS Parent
"I truly feel that the educational experience I received at FAIS has had a greater impact on my future than my high school and college experiences combined. Merci beaucoup, FAIS"FAIS Alumnus
“FAIS has a strong IB program that teaches children from preschool on about the greater world around them.” FAIS Parent
"Great engaged school. I went here, and they really care about all the students. They encourage engaged learning and multilingual learners."Dominic H., FAIS Alumnus
The girls finished their regular season with a 7-4 record to finish as the #3 seed. At the playoffs (during ACE / Arts Week), they won their first game against Valor (#6) at home, then beat Life (#2) away, but sadly lost in the championship game against Southwest (#1) on February 26. They finished the season as vice champions 2019.
The boys team finished the season undefeated, seeding #1, winning their first game of the playoffs at home on 2/19 against Forest Hills (#8) then semi-final at home against Valor (#4), and finally won the championship game at a neutral site at Forest Hills against Tualatin Valley Academy (#2) on February 26. They are the 2019 MCL champs for the west side!
The weather made it interesting, but we had another successful Arts and Cultural Enrichment Week! While regular classes were on break last week, students had the opportunity to immerse in the world of printmaking (Lower School) and arts-focused workshops (Middle School). Extra special thanks to Atelier Meridian for an awesome week of printmaking and showing our kids the ropes! Extra, extra special thanks to Ralph, Tony, and the rest of our amazing facilities team for keeping our campus safe with all of the snow and ice!
As the 2019 FAIS Annual Gala approaches, we’d like to highlight our sponsors thus far!
