The DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes de Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are delivered and recognized by the French Ministry of Education and will take the place of an exam for entrance to a French University, if chosen. FAIS is one of the few centers in the U.S. authorized to administer the exams.

2021 DELF/DALF Exam Dates

We have not yet received the 2021 exam dates from the CIEP; please keep checking back. Exams are typically offered in March (around the time of PPS spring break) and in early June. Exams may not be offered if current health guidelines deem them unsafe. At this point in time, it is unlikely that FAIS will offer the DELF exams in 2021; please check with the Alliance Française or the CIEP for more resources on other testing centers.

Please note that exam dates are standardized by the CIEP and cannot be changed. Due to the number of candidates and available examiners, we cannot accommodate requests for oral exam dates.
