1st Grade Spends Time with Wasco Tribe

Earlier this month, 1st graders spent the morning with Christine and Clifton from the Wasco Tribe. They have worked with the Confluence Project in the past and came to share their culture and knowledge with our classes. Students helped make tea gathering plants from our forest and got to play handmade games, including a double ball game as well as a ring and a stick game. Thank you to Christine and Clifton for helping to broaden our students’ perspectives and deepen their understanding of cultures here and abroad.
