Gilkey Student Council needs your help with the 16th annual Carnival Night on Friday, March 15; 5:45-8:45 PM. Parent volunteers are essential to creating a positive environment and help over 180 students have fun!

Volunteers are needed for the following:

  • Activity chaperones—Supervise one activity area: active, quiet, social, food, and carnival themed. Your role includes learning the activity from a student host, running the activity, and cleaning up with help from the student host.
  • Floaters—be willing to be more flexible and help support the volunteer break schedule.

Contact Shali Bogavelli,  if interested.

There are over 50 opportunities for parents to volunteer at this year’s gala on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Opportunities include setting-up/tearing down, working check-in and selling raffle tickets, and helping to load the truck on the Friday before. Interested? Sign-up here!

The library is in need of a volunteer who would work on demand (some weeks more than others, but no more than 2 hours a week) in  preparing books for circulation. This entails detailed handwork covering books with mylar, and finishing the physical color coding of library materials all throughout the school year.
