Summer Programs

July 12 - August 20, 2021

FAIS offers a wide variety of weekly camps and activities throughout the summer for preschool through 8th grade students.

Summer Programs 2021 are open only to PS-8th grade students enrolled at FAIS in 2021-22. We are unable to accept TPS students this year.

For safety, all camps will take place on the FAIS campus; there will be no field trips or camps taught by outside organizations.

We will follow COVID guidelines from the state health department and Department of Education.

Three young students craft with their teacher.

Summer Camp: Photography

Photography campers (2nd-5th grade) debuted their work from the week in their very own Art Gallery!

Led by Teacher Dave, students learned about various types of cameras, picture styles, and ways to see life through different lenses (and perspectives).

Great job, campers!

Summer Camp: Printmaking

Today, 3rd-5th graders in Printmaking 101 with camp leader Brianna held an art fair for staff and fellow campers to showcase all of their work from the week!

Students learned how to create multiples of original art — from  block print and risograph to lithography and screen printing. Great job, campers, and thank you for sharing your creations!

Summer Camp premiere: Let's Make a Movie!

This week, 4th-8th graders learned the art of the home movie -- from writing and acting to directing and editing. We're proud to present the premiere of Changing Channels!
