First Annual 6th Grade On-Campus Community Service Day
Posted 05/18/2018 05:00PM

Thursday, May 17 was our first annual 6th Grade On-Campus Community Service Day! Supervised by teachers and parent volunteers, groups of students spent four hours of educational and work time around campus. Projects included: flower planting, weeding, and litter clean-up; maintenance and project upgrades in Discovery Park; habitat restoration, trail rerouting, and safety changes in our forest; and staff-requested education support projects. Thank you to our students, staff, volunteers, and to our generous community partners: Rodda Paint Co.; Seagraves Landscaping; SOLVE; High Top Tree Trimming; and Portland French Bakery.
