Third Graders Created Books on Civilizations
Posted 05/03/2016 05:27PM

The students of Mme Reineck's class, created books after studying civilizations. The central idea of the unit was: Civilizations develop and change over time/Les Civilisations se développent et changent à travers le temps. The books include extra pockets for creative writing and wonderful illustrations. They are a tribute to the research and talents of the students. The fifteen books will be on display for two weeks.

Get ready to taste delicious wines from 11 different wineries, enjoy scrumptious bites from Hunt and Gather Catering, Murray’s Cheese, and Angel Bake, and build community among FAIS friends (and buy your favorite wines, of course). Can't make it to the event? You can still order amazing wines -- all wine ordered before November 7 will be available for pick-up on Monday, November 19... just in time for Thanksgiving! Plus, 25 percent of all proceeds from wine sales go back to FAIS to support programs and initiatives that make our school special. Buy wine here!

If you shop on Amazon, you can raise money for FAIS! AmazonSmile is operated by Amazon with the price, products, and even Prime, but with the bonus of donating 0.5 percent of each purchase to your chosen charity. Visit this link to start shopping!

Until midnight tonight (November 2), AmazonSmile is celebrating a milestone by increasing their donation rate to 5 percent of all purchases—ten times the usual rate!
