FAIS has traditionally hosted various programs and lectures on campus, covering topical subjects for both Lower and Middle School parents. As of this fall, these offerings have been combined into a more formal series, called the Family Enrichment Series, to be held in the Rose Préau Commons. Parents can find a full calendar of upcoming presentations on the FAIS Website, under Counseling on the Parents page. This coming week, on Thursday, September 24, the Series first lecture, "Bullying Prevention," will be held, presented by Communities for Safe Kids/Impact NW. On September 29, "The Birds + Bees + Technology: Tips To Keep Your Elementary Schooler Safer In A Super-Connected World" will be presented by childhood sexuality and parent expert Amy Lang (for parents only; subject matter is not appropriate for children). Join other parents and learn more about these important issues! Questions? Contact Diana Platas, Lower School Counselor, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
