"I want my children to be educated global citizens. French International is unique in Portland in being able to deliver an amazing international curriculum from pre-school to elementary school through the 8th grade while encouraging exploration, community building, and fostering opportunities that are hard to come by elsewhere. The campus is amazing, and the teachers and staff are a dedicated and dynamic group of educators. We love it here."

“I’ve always thought it was a really cool thing that I could speak French and I had an amazing experience at French International for all of Lower School and Middle School. It honestly just added to my perspective. I love the French language and developing that part of my personality. I had incredible teachers who really inspired me and pushed me to work really hard."

"It’s hard to overstate what a beautiful environment the school provided. We grew up being exposed to so much culture and that is such a deep part of your learning experience at French International. I see it emerging in my child. She hears people speaking different languages and she’s curious about that language."

The Gift of a Lifetime

FRENCH INTERNATIONAL STORIES

Sending your children to French International is a gift of a lifetime--a gift of languages and the doors communication opens; a gift of inspired & curious learning that empowers them and shows them how they learn best and how to teach others; a gift of diverse perspectives from a community of world-traveling students, teachers, and families; a gift of connectedness to the world and our responsibility to go forth with kindness, tolerance, and wonder--so many gifts, it's hard to count!  And, what is so meaningful, is that these are all gifts your child doesn't even realize they're opening...they are living and breathing it every day at school.  We have been so incredibly happy with our boys' experience at French International and know it has laid a powerful foundation for them to build on as they move through more challenging stages in their lives."
