Discovery Park

Every year, FAIS conducts a Special Appeal paddle raise opportunity at the Gala that funds a specifically designated project to improve program and community on campus. Typically, the project installation is completed over the summer break and ready for students and families early the next school year. The 2012 Special Appeal was Discovery Park.

of Discovery Park on Sunday, October 14, 2012. Special Appeal donors and their families gathered under the Pavilion for wine and cheese before congregating around the entrance to the Park, where a ribbon-cutting opened the multi-sensory play and learning space to the kids and families who made it possible. The new plantings are growing fast due to an abundance of recent rain, and classes are venturing out to experience this new space on our campus. Come visit and walk its paths!
