create quality art projects. Projects may take the form of portraits,
landscapes, and modern art. This class will also introduce various world
artists.

Explore Chinese culture by listening to Chinese stories,
singing Chinese songs, and making Chinese art. Each month will focus on learning
a different song, and mastering a different artistic medium. Parents will
receive a CD of songs learned. Examples of art are paper folding and cutting,
painting and calligraphy, and Chinese knotting.

musicale is a theatre genre, with comedy, singing and dance. In this
class we will be learning choreography and dancing with accessories. We
will work on both body and facial expressions, and acting and singing. There
will be a performance, complete with costumes, at the end of the semester.

to South America, in this hands-on cooking class. Students will make sweet and
savory dishes influenced by their tastes, as well as cultural traditions of

Using multiple LEGO Creator sets and the LEGO education WeDoTM
Robotics Construction software, this detail oriented class will afford
students the opportunity to work on, not just creativity, but specifically
following step by step instructions and problem solving. We will learn the ins
and outs of model building, cumulating in a collaborative effort to piece
together an advanced model as a group. Students will also build and program
LEGO models featuring working motors and sensors.

to learn basic Rugby movement and rules. Rugby is a contact sport, but rules
