What Is a Prepaid FASCA Plan?
Posted September 14, 2012
As you probably know, FASCA is FAIS' main after-school program. Any student still on campus at the end of the school day is directed there. Extracurricular aides provide a snack, fun activities, and even a little bit of homework help. What you may not know is that there is more than one way to pay for this program.
In general we will invoice you for the time your child spends in FASCA; however, if you would like to pre-pay for FASCA you have three options:
Semi-Yearly and the Yearly Plans
These plans are great for families that know they will be using FASCA regularly, for about an hour and a half or more on most days. The Yearly Plan covers all FASCA use for the entire school year. The Semi-Yearly Plan is a little less committed than the yearly plan--try it out for the first half of the year, or wait until the next semester to see how much you are really spending in childcare.
- The first semester runs September 4—February 1
- The second semester runs February 4—June 19
The Super Yearly Plan
Like the previous two plans, this plan includes FASCA for the entire year, but you also get all seven FAIS + days prepaid.
For all plans please remember that you will still have to sign your child out of FASCA and FAIS + for attendance purposes. All plans are available for purchase online. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Extracurricular Department Administrative Assistant Katie Márquez.
