Gilkey's Festival of Languages

On Friday, June 8 Gilkey celebrated Language Day with songs, skits, and student presentations (given in Spanish, Chinese, and French) on their recent trips abroad.
After their skits and presentations, students attended foreign language workshops in the language of their choice. The languages offered were Farsi, Czech, Portuguese, Japanese, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, French, Russian, Danish, Bengali, Hungarian, and German. Workshops were offered by our own student body as well as FAIS parents and alumni. The event a true success in showing the rich diversity of our international community!
