Construction News: Nouveau Préau and Satellite 4 Classrooms

In the FAIS Master Site Plan developed through a community-wide process in 2004, staff, parents and architects envisioned the creation of a community meeting hall.  This was to fulfill the growing need for a central gathering place large enough to accomodate student performances, parent meetings, lectures, assemblies and social gatherings.  The installation of a second floor in the Préau is going to provide this space.  | Read More

Earlier this year, Virginie (my fourth grade teacher) had us do a survey of counting cars that were idling at pick up. Idling is when you leave your motor on while not moving. Later, we calculated the percentage and 70% of the cars were idling. | Read More
