Hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM on school days

The Patricia C. Inskeep Library houses an impressive collection of over 10,000 volumes in French, Spanish, German, Chinese, and English. The collection includes picture books, chapter books, fiction and non-fiction, magazines, and books with CDs. All library staff are bilingual in French and English. We encourage parents to visit the library, borrow resources, and ask for recommendations.

Lower School children visit the library with their class once a week for story time in French and to check out books. Middle School students come to the library on a regular basis with or without their teachers to do research, browse, and select books. Sixth grade students take an information literacy class.

Library Exhibits

  • The Library is housing a new exhibit of student creations. The 3rd graders have made dioramas illustrating what they have learned during their unit on civilizations. The central idea of this unit is: Civilizations develop and change over time.

    Each of the dioramas represents an aspect of one or several civilizations chosen by the students. It includes a written reflection presenting what is in the background, the middleground, and the foreground. Each student added on anachronism within the diorama and drew a connection between the past civilizations and ours.
